ESSEX COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Methuen Arlington Neighborhood, Inc. is proud to announce that it has been awarded an $12,500 grant from the Greater Lawrence Summer Fund, a program of the Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF).This generous funding will support our efforts to provide a safe, structured, and culturally diverse environment for local youth throughout the summer at the Tenney Street Playground in Methuen. Our program will offer a wide range of enriching activities, including breakfast and lunch, recreational games, arts and crafts, field trips, yoga, karate, and a summer basketball league. These activities are designed to keep children engaged in positive and supervised alternatives to being home alone. The summer program will run from July 1 to August 21, 2026, operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is open to participants ages 7 and up. Thanks to funding from ECCF and other generous supporters, the program is completely free of charge for all participants. We are grateful for the continued support that allows us to provide valuable opportunities for the youth in our community.
CUMMINGS FOUNDATION
A big thank you to Cummings Foundation for providing a $100,000 grant over a 4 year period to support the continued structured and supervised programming to the youth of the Methuen Arlington Neighborhood.
Cummings Foundation now awards at least $50 million each year, and has awarded a total of nearly $600 million to date, to a wide variety of nonprofits, primarily in eastern Massachusetts.
